Working with the Office of Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan and Senator Bo Hatchett from District 50, Marsy’s Law for Georgia has drafted legislation to empower and compel the state’s court clerks to enter data into the Georgia Criminal Information Center (GCIC) consistently and comprehensively.
The new Criminal Record Responsibility Act (CRRA) aims to amend Title 15 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated to reestablish the Criminal Case Data Exchange Board as an advisory board to the Council of Superior Court Clerks of Georgia.
